Asides the competition for the weekly take home, our attention shifts to two managers who took to SociaLiga’s social media account to engage each other in a war of words.
First up was Johnero CF, managed by John Odujobi, who lamented how he missed out on the list of the winners for one of the two-game weeks by just eight points.
Just 8 more points and I’d have made this list. *tears*

But an attempt to inspire Odujobi to put more efforts into GW3 was swiftly countered by no other than Philip Orimoloye, who manages Enovate x SociaLiga FPL side, Night Raid.
This led to interesting exchanges between both managers, setting the stage for an exciting and pseudo-head-to-head showdown in GW3.
He won't actually. I would. 🌚

However, following this development, a check on where both teams stand in the league revealed some interesting things.
After two weekends, Johnero sits 175th on the overall standings, no thanks to a massive 98points earned in GW2 for a total of 142points.
Night Raid finds itself 10points further behind, as a poor weekend ended with 42points to leave them 248th on the log with a total of 132points.
Therefore, while they have provided more spice to GW3, both have a lot of grounds to cover before they can get into the top half of the league, even though their immediate concern borders on emerging as one of the three weekly winners.
Laughs in village people.

Meanwhile, at the top of the league, one of the early pacesetters, Oyetolani Oyewolu believes there is still more to play for in the Enovate x SociaLiga FPL.
“Still a long way to go,” Oyetolani tweeted after finding out he had missed out on the prize money for GW2.
Oyetolani’s El-Ganador is second on the table with 198 points, four adrift of the leader, Brother Osigwe Mohammed’s BlueMoonRising.
El-Ganador was one of the first winners of the Enovate x SociaLiga FPL, but on GW 2, he missed out by 16points.
He, however, is not perturbed and remains optimistic that there is still a long way to go.
Nevertheless, it is another game week and with Manchester City and Kun Aguero at Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend, we wonder if managers will retain him as their captain after his heroics against Huddersfield on GW2,
Aguero is now a threat to Mohamed Salah’s reign as the ultimate pick for the armband by FPL managers, with over 400k managers going for the Argentine goal machine for GW3.
So, tell us your plans, managers… Who have you captained for GW3?
